Hinricus and Henneka Bonsac

Hinricus Bonsac  witnessed  a document 1308 from the prince of Mecklenburg Henry II., the Lion. This witnessing documented, that Hinricus is a counsellor from the prince.

Until 1328 (the death of the prince) he witnessed an additional 40 documents and he therefore had a high position in the court of the prince Henry II. Hinricus is also a member of the union of the knights (Ritterkaland) in Sternberg, the stay from Henry II.

We can legitimately stay that Hinricus is the oldest forefather from all the namesakes in Mecklenburg.

In 1361 his son Henneka Bonsac is the governor (Vogt) of Sternberg.

In absence from the Duke Albrecht II. he had to reign in the residence of the duke. His dwelling-place is Gr. Raden.
He got this village as a gift (in the German language "Lehen") from Albrechts II..

Also the farms in Rosenow and Witzin were presents from the duke.

Henneka is characterized with his great support for the monastery and the church from the Antoniter in Tempzin (Antoniterpräzeptorei). Also he has merits around the construction of the towns church in Sternberg.

There we find still today his coat of arms.

Many of his farms in Gr. Raden he presented to his daughter Richardis and her husband Tydeke von Bülow.

On the pictures we see in the first row two Bonsac coat of arms from documents and

we see in the second row two original Bonsac family-documents of the years 1398 and 1409.
On the left in the second row is a picture from the village of the Slave in Gr. Raden around the 10th century.

On the right we see a picture from Albrecht II and his son Albrecht III. on the title of the chronicle from Kirchberg (Kirchbergchronik).
